TUG Bursary Fund

The Bursary Fund provides assistance for members of the TeX community. If you would like to attend the annual TUG Conference but it would be a financial hardship, then we encourage you to apply to the fund for support. We are able to provide some grants that can help.

You do not need to be a member of TUG to apply for or receive a Bursary grant. Both those who will attend the meeting in person and those who will attend online may apply, if there is a fee for online attendance.

TUG provides only administrative support for the bursary; the Bursary Committee operates independently, and the TUG board is not given any special knowledge of bursary applicants.

Bursary Applications

To apply for financial assistance with the costs of attending the TUG 2024 Meeting, send an application by electronic mail to bursary@tug.org no later than April 8, 2024.

To submit an application, please carefully read the bursary application page and provide the information requested.

Bursary Donations

Please consider making a donation to the TUG Bursary Fund. All of the funds donated are used for the bursary's stated purpose (there are no administrative charges). Any surplus remaining after disbursements have been made will be carried over for use in the following year.
