[metapost] arrowhead weirdness

When using code not in plain Metapost (yshifted, for example)
one should state what macro packages are used or how one
processes the file (e.g., with mptopdf).

If one asks about the meaning of code, short snippets are fine,
but if one asks about the output figure, one should post a
complete (but minimal) file, with beginfig, endfig and end (and
any necessary input commands). This allows your readers to just
paste the whole thing into a file and get the figure with minimal
effort.
