[metapost] 3D PDF - any plans

Not currently / not by me.

I have not even looked at the Adobe offering yet.

 From a quick browse of Adobe.com it seems that Acrobat3D is just
a PRC (or U3D?) file and some javascript api. If you want to use
a pre-defined PRC file and that is all there is to it, then there
is no need to involve metapost at all (you could just link the
file in directly via from latex or troff or whatever). OTOH,
if the idea is to have metapost generate the PRC file, then metapost
would need 3D stuff and then it wouldn't be a shortcut.

But I can be wrong because as I said I have not looked at it seriously,
and anyway, I fear it looks like I will not have time to look into the
whole 3D issue anytime soon. (If someone else wants to jump in, that
would be fine, of course)
