I've attached a small input file.
- it works with mpost 1.208, both with mfplain and mf2pt1
- it works with mpost 1.211 and mfplain
- it fails with mpost 1.211 and mf2pt1
- once I comment out the dump in mfplain.mp, it works with mpost 1.211 and
mf2pt1
