[metapost] [bug report] Segmentation fault when unifying strings

Hi,

When I metapost the following program, I get a segmentation fault:

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
string a;

%a = "a";% works fine.
"a" = a;   % segmentation fault.

end
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

typing:
$ mpost --version
gives:
%%%%%%%%%%
