[tex-k] dvips 5.86d

Hello,

We have 2 latex distributions on our site.
The GUTenberg distrib and the TeX Live 5c (with TeTeX 1.0).

The last one, TeX Live 5c, has
- dvips 5.86d on Digital Unix and Linux
- dvips 5.58f on Solaris

The problem is that with dvips 5.86d, the inclusion
of compressed postscript doesn't work :

dvips: Failure to execute gunzip -c `kpsewhich -n latex tex
IPGP.eps.gz`; continuing
]

I try to add to my source code these lines :

\documentclass[dvips]{article}
...
\DeclareGraphicsRule{.eps.gz}{eps}{.eps.bb}%
   {`/usr/bin/gunzip -c `kpsewhich -n latex tex #1`}

But the problem is still the same.

Can you help me please ? (excuse my very bad english)...
