Um. You want the user to be able to insist on using system calls,
despite what the config says? "dvips -R0" means "set secure to 0"? OK,
I think I have done that.
I just need to compile it all and test... (I am doing this because I
am also integrating the latest T1-aware xdvik into TeXLive. Does the
same problem occur in xdvi?)
