With C, yes, with C++, not, and some people seem to want to use C++
compilers to compile kpathsea/web2c.

As noted, it doesn't seem to be much of a problem at present, so I'm
not going to deal with it right now.  Further along this whole set of
headers is slated for replacement anyway.
