[tex-k] requesting info on fptex

    a new /Tex/bin directory for Windows XP. 

fptex is no longer maintained.  Fabrice's distribution is now named
xemtex, xemtex.org.

However, fptex-0.7 remain on CTAN, e.g.,
http://www.ctan.org/systems/win32/fptex/0.7.

Alternatively, it may work to get the Windows binaries from TeX Live 2005,
which were the xemtex ones from that time plus a few others:
ftp://tug.org/texlive/Contents/live/texlive/bin/win32

If the above don't work, a new installation of TeX Live, as Reinhard
suggested, or miktex (miktex.org), may be all that's left.
