    MetaPost. Could the following settings be adjusted?

I've forwarded this to Taco (chief MetaPost maintainer).

    BTW: I was unable to find the latest releases of kpathsea and web2c on
    CTAN. Where are they available nowadays?

In addition to the other answers, I am arranging with CTAN to get
systems/texlive/Source updated.
