I have just done that, both in the TL svn and in
ftp://ftpth.mppmu.mpg.de/pub/peb/vlna/vlna-1.3.tar.gz.

TODO: update vlna.dvi by someone with a working csplain.

Karl, can you do that ("make vlna.dvi")?
