[tex-k] afm2tfm to vpl kerning data

Hello.
I have .afm font file with kerning data for digits 0-9. I try to convert
.afm font file to .vpl with kerning data but in result I have .vpl file
without any kerning data.

Is it true that afm2tfm doesn't transmit kerning data for digits to .vpl
file?
