[tex-k] Error in TeXbook?

Hello,

page A47, line 2 reads: "If there are no more characters in the line, 
the name is empty." But in this case, the name of the control sequence 
is ^^M.
This is demonstrated by the following experiment:

This is TeX-FPC, 2nd ed. (no format preloaded)

*\show\
 > \^^M=macro:
->\ .

*\def\
*{hallo}


*\show\^^M
 > \^^M=macro:
->hallo.
<*> \show\^^M
