[tex-k] typographical suggestion for The TeXbook

Page A382, line 11 contains the code fragment
    macro:->$this$ is {\it !}
The next sentence says that there is only one space after the `\it', but the
line is so loose that there seem to be two spaces.

You can put the code fragment into an \hbox (to avoid stretching the \ttglue)
and the paragraph will still look good -- see attachment.
