No, it does **__NOT__**!  In the not uncommon case that a "starred"
section with a title is preceded by a section that ends with a
'@d'efinition but not with some 'code' part, like

   @ Here are some macros.

   @d any_value == 0 {`false' for our purposes}

   @* Another chapter.

then the page before the new starred section is titled with the
incorrect text.

I'll investigate how this got introduced.
