    Can kpathsea have a shell completion?

Sorry, I'm not going to spend time on this. I don't think every single
program in the world should be altered to support completion; rather,
the completion programs/infrastructure should be able to support it
without altering the original programs. And, from what I gather after
your same request to texdoc, this is possible. --best, karl.
