[tex-live] printing problem with hplj 1000 series

  Dear sir,

        I am using emtex for technical paper writing. I can get 
the print out of dvi file on dot matrix printer. How to get 
printout on hp Laserjet 1000 series printer? pl tell me the 
printing command on
C Prompt. It is a dos based Latex.

prthpljh sample2e +first-page:1 +last-page:1 +pause

is not responding to LaserJet 1000 printer. What is the problem?
