[tex-live] Parallel converts

Hi,
on a 2cpu machine doing parallel converts of pdftex and pdfetex (i.e.
        srcdir=.  /bin/sh ./web2c/convert pdftex&  srcdir=.  /bin/sh ./web2c/convert pdfetex&
) gives different (and of course wrong) results than doing it sequentially (i.e.
        srcdir=.  /bin/sh ./web2c/convert pdftex;  srcdir=.  /bin/sh ./web2c/convert pdfetex
).

Any idea how to fix this?
