[tex-live] problem

    Hello,
     I installed fpTex on my computer under Windows95.  It seems to work 
fine, but I have a problem when shutting down the operating system.  It 
seems like a process does not want to quit.  The only way to take care of 
the problem is to shut down the power and run Scandisk when I start up.  
Have you heard of this problem before, and would you have any suggestions on 
fixing the problem?  Thank-you!
