[tex-live] [i386-pc-solaris2.8] problems building texinfo

Sure there is no libncurses.so.5, and configure complained the
gcc (2.8.1) can not build shared libraries on Solaris. Any
workaround for this or do we have live without texinfo on
i386-pc-solaris2.8?
