[tex-live] time to compile (again)

I uploaded irix 6.5 and solaris 2.7 sets to tug.org (239 programs each); 
the files:

  tlprod/mips-irix6.5.tgz
and
  tlprod/sparc-solaris2.7.tgz

My earlier attempts at committing the binaries to Perforce failed;
once the change description was entered, the editor would hang forever. 
Is the direct submission to the Master tree no longer possible?
