[tex-live] Linux install oddities

I'm going to shoot someone. I used the only CD2 in my box of CD1s
(we bought 100 of them). Someone must have used the CDs to install
a Sun or something and put the disk back in the wrong box.  Grrr.

Sorry for wasting your time. Works perfectly -- as I would have
expected -- but it took over 1hr for a full install.
