cyrillic is a mandatory part of latex. The cyrillic package on CTAN does not
work with the lh fonts on CTAN... :-(

uncomment line 250 && latex stmaryrd.dtx && mv Ustmry.fd ustmry.fd

I don't recall what I did 4 weeks ago. I think that I have traced it
all down to a simple document that did run with the old version of the
generated class file, but not with the new one. Maybe an incompatibility
with current latex.
