[tex-live] sources

I do suggest (as I have done earlier) a 3-tier source release
    1. A source freeze in a tar.bz2 which accompanies the iso image (if the
image not already contains the sources, I have not checked this)

It does. But having the released .tar.bz2 in the source repository is
good, anyway.

(Except for Fabrice's sources -- Fabrice, can you *please* upload them
or make them available somewhere? Once again, I'm not asking you to do
anything except make a zip file ...)

    2. source, the directory with a stable release. This may change over
the year and stuff goes in there when source.development is considered
    to contain a stable release.

That makes sense to me. If (after the release, if we ever get to make
one) changes in source would help you (or anyone else), please propose
them.

The only issue is that there is only one Master and one set of installed
binaries, and they would (presumably) come from source.development. So
a new infrastructure (with the released Master) would have to be
constructed to do any testing.

Best,
k
