Knoppix up to version 3.3 does have TeX installed. For me the only
thing missing there is the superfonts, and I noticed upon
experimenting that ConTeXt seems to be broken, but that's a thing for
Klaus Knopper, and since TeX is no longer included in Knoppix 3.4 it
probably doesn't make sense to complain there...
