    1. before building everynight .iso, texmf/list/ should be updated

They are. Please tell me the problem you're seeing.

    2. I've observed that everynight tlrebuild can break correct/updated
.tpm files, e.g. I updated mex and also mex.tpm (#6100), but
after that tlrebuild spoiled mex.tpm (#6105), so some small additions
       dissapeared

I'll look at the changes, but meanwhile if you could tell me
specifically what gets broken by tlrebuild, it would help.

    3. I touched Master/install-pkg* (col.vlist changed to col) so it works
       for --collection.

Thanks.

Would you please change the other thing:
strip "collection-" from the name so
          sh install-pkg.sh --collection=tex4ht
instead '... --collection=collection-tex4ht' could work (as
       in the documentation)

Ok, I'll see what I can do.

OK. but small programs like diff, grep or wget could be handy...

We seem to have room, so I will add them back for now. They'll have to
be the first to go when we run out of space again, though.

As for binaries, may I suggest that for the final turn all platform build
should be made from the updated source (not source.development).

It would be a great deal of trouble for everyone to rebuild the binaries
again. I see no purpose in doing so merely after copying
source.development to source -- the generated binaries would be exactly
the same.

I would go so far as to suggest that we update source.development to
source after the release, actually, so we can be sure that what is in
source is actually what got released.

It would be consistent that with what we want to distribute as
source.tar.bz2. Hope that we are at some final point concerning
    the sources,

Yes, we should update source.tar.bz2 now. Sebastian, how do you do that :)?

or... are we waiting for pdftex 1.20b? :-)

As far as I know, we are not waiting for anything except (a) windows
installer from Fabrice and (b) documentation update from me +
translations. Both of which will probably take some time to complete :(.
