[tex-live] Packaging TeXlive as Debian packages

is there a standard way in debian to handle different architectures, so
that the arch name doesn't need to be included in the pkg name?
Probably, just thought I'd ask ...

Sounds nice.  Not sure if this is what Sebastian had in mind too.
