    You need to do both, because anything larger than ssup_trie_size is
    automatically downgraded during the executable's initialization phase.

Yep, got that.  My question is whether increasing ssup_trie_size will
have other inadvertently bad consequences, like something ends up being
a four-byte array index or some such implementation craziness.

I can just try it if need be, but I thought it would be prudent to ask
first :).
