[tex-live] debian packages status report

I have done a fair bit more work on Norbert's script to
make Debian packages from tpm metadata, and it seems
to work now. I mainly hacked at making post and pre installation
scripts, and folding the small hyphenation and binary
packages into larger collections. I now have 77 packages,
which seems plausible.

For the moment, I have installed into /usr/share/texmf, and put binaries into /usr/share/texlive/bin, which are then symlinked to /usr/bin. This works, but it is not very proper at all. We now need to review the exchanges between Frank
and Norbert and sort out some of these placement issues.
We also need to check the installation scripts against teTeX
and make sure the behaviour is the same. We also
need to make it all work with multiple architectures.

Can anyone else look at this to assist Norbert? I am going away for 2 months shortly, which means I won't be touching TeX at all until June at the earliest.
