wah, i was not aware that there are non-X11 graphical apps on MAC OS X.

(and, for what it worth, i didn't know what are pdfopen/pdfclose -
i just noticed that they're not present on some platforms).

so then, i guess, since pdfopen/pdfclose are only useful in connection
with acroread, we shall delete them from those archs where there is no
acroread, right?

namely, shall we delete pdfopen/pdfclose (in addition to i386-darwin
and powerpc-darwin) from: alpha-linux, i386-freebsd, sparc-linux?
