[tex-live] svn update killed

    $ svn update
    Killed

This has never happened for me :(. Some wild stabs:

Does the svn update that gets killed run for a long time (minutes) first?

What version of svn? What OS? I'm using 1.3.0 compiled from source.

Does it happen if you do the update from a subdirectory (or use -N),
instead of updating the whole hierarchy?

It could be useful to figure out what directory it's updating when it
dies -- if it's always the same one. What locks have to get cleaned up,
does it say? (Sorry, I forget.)

Unfortunately there is no logging available at the server end. I don't
see any logging available in the client, either. Sigh.

    You have mail in ....
      [I'm not sure that is a problem]

Getting mail is very definitely a huge problem for all of us :).

Best,
karl
