[tex-live] Fwd: Polish TexLive Stuff

We had licensed Matlab installed in /usr/local/bin. I noticed the conflict
while setting up one of the earlier releases of TeX Live. What I did at the
time was to direct people who'd need TL mex to $TEXMF/bin/<platform>/mex.
It worked here, but might not work at other sites.

Not that I know of.

Perhaps someone from GUST has a suggestion?
