[tex-live] test Images by ftp

    I failed to compile on my old linux machine (using --without-xetex):

    Entering directory `/test/Build/source/Work/libs/freetype2'
    /bin/sh: OBJ_DIR: command not found

What version of GNU make?  You have to install the current gmake from
source.  (http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/make/make-3.81.tar.gz, configure &&
make && make install.  I can do it if you like, given access to the machine.)

I hope that's all it is.
