Shouldn't collection-publishers contain *all* classes used to write conference or journal papers?
I don't find here the Elsevier classes I use in my field (elsevier, ifacmtg)
Besides, in
/usr/local/TeX/texmf-dist/tex/latex
there is a IEEEtran directory next to the IEEEconf one.
