I think you are out of commission.  How is Petr's donating a Czech
version of TeX "selfish"?  It is just that his chosen way of doing it
makes it hard to follow through with his wish of providing it to
others.  Products like TeXlive consist of the work of hundreds of
volunteers, and it is simply not reasonable to expect a license
analysis for every contribution, in particular when the license
appears self-contradictory.

Petr is not doing his own project a favor, but that can hardly be
called "selfish".  It would appear that the LPPL captures his intent
rather well, so he really should take a look at it, since adopting it
would make life a lot easier for all people involved.

As to "selfish actions": there can hardly be more selfish actions than
shouts of "contribute the way I like it" from the sidelines.
