[tex-live] getnonfreefonts not working on MacOS X 10.3

I finally installed TL 2007 from DVD and instead of copying the fonts 
from my old 2005 installation I tried to run genonfreefonts to get the 
additional fonts.

This used to work in 2005, but the 2007 version couldn't find wget. I 
had to install it to make this work.

In TL2005 getnonfreefonts tested for several ftp clients, including 
curl, which is available on MacOS. Is there a reason why this support 
has been dropped?
