Hi,

in TL 2007, the dvips options regarding shell commands and absolute
pathnames have changed their meanings. The documentation in the info
manual and dvips.pdf, but the manpage has not been recreated. Most
importantly, the comment in config.ps is now wrong.

The latter can be cured with this patch:

--- texlive-bin-2007.orig/texmf/dvips/config/config.ps	2007-04-16 19:17:10.000000000 +0200

But I don't know whether the manpage can be automatically regenerated
from the info manual or texinfo sources. Furthermore, dvips.pdf needs
more pdfTeX runs: The page numbers in references are all off by a
couple of pages.

Regards, Frank
