Hi Staszek,
I assume that nobody expects from you that you make significant
changes now,  TeXLive-2007 had been frozen anyway.

On the other hand, I'm quite interested that the Windows version does
not differ so much from the UNIX version.  I'd like to help but I do
not have much experience with Windows.  Therefore I think that the
discussion about the different versions of Windows is quite useful.

I'm aware that you don't have enough time to think about such things
now.  Don't worry.  The discussion is useful though.  As I said
before, I have no experience with Windows, especially not with the
many Windows releases floating around and it's great if people provide
some information here.

Staszek, as I said in a previous mail, it is more convenient to talk
about the details at the next TeX conference instead of spending a lot
of time writing emails.  But I regard the current discussion as being
very helpful.
