[tex-live] TL2007 (win2k) problem with LH fonts

ah, good that it's so. i falsely assumed they're unused after grepping
the sources for e.g. MKTEXTFM. i can even enable MKTEXTEX=1 and then
mktextex gets called (if it exists) if the file is not found.

then the only problem is why the defaults became different on windows
(as it seems - i didn't check myself).
