[tex-live] TeX Live Windows installation question

As to possible permission problems:

Which version of Windows are you running? Later versions of Windows
close off more areas of the filesystem to non-administrators, and
with Vista, you have to explicitly request administrator privileges
even if you already are an administrator.

Was `Install for all users' unchecked? Did you verify that you have
write permissions to the chosen TLroot directory?
