[tex-live] beamer: has more dependencies?

    would say yes, [xcolor] is always required.

Ok, I added it as a dependency of beamer.

    I thought our policy concerning dependencies was that people
    are assumed to install collectionwise. 

Yes in general, but our policies are rarely so strict :).  There is no
harm in adding package-level dependencies, especially of "important"
packages like beamer, when the issue arises and the solution is clear.

We definitely have no plans to try to systematically identify and record
all dependencies of all packages.
