i find i noted the issue when the current version was uploaded, but i
never returned to it :-(

i have ("wantonly") removed the old newlfm.pdf and renamed manual.pdf to
newlfm.pdf (manual.pdf is a useless name in a distribution).

will inform the author in a bit.

i would suggest that newlfm in tex live should synchronise with what
i've done.
