[tex-live] Fwd: Problem in installing TexLive-2008

Hi Norbert,

I tried running the script you have attached and got the following
error message:

#./install-tl -location /media/TeXLive2008
DEBUG: location before abs_path: /media/TeXLive2008

Installing from: /media/TeXLive2008
Platform: i386-linux => 'Intel x86 with GNU/Linux'
Distribution: live (uncompressed)

Loading /media/TeXLive2008/tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb
unusable location /media/TeXLive2008/tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb, could not
load any packages
Cannot load TeX Live Database from /media/TeXLive2008 at ./install-tl line 743.
