[tex-live] No errors during virgin install

On my Win XP system, the C:\Windows\Fonts directory
had both ttf and otf versions of some fonts (probably
as a result of successive updates to Adobe Apps).  After
I moved the .ttf versions to a subdirectory the errors
stopped.

Fc-cache is run by a number of other systems (MiKTeX,
Gimp, Inkscape), but more silently.  I found some evidence
in logs that the same error was occuring for the other systems.
