[tex-live] Odd terminology in TLMGR --help

I notice that the output of TLMGR --help makes
references to an "arch" [1] without explaining what
an "arch" is. I am completely unfamiliar with
this term in anything other than architectural
contexts, so can only surmise that it is an
abbreviation for "archive". If that is the case,
is there any reason not to use the word "archive",
since I suspect that many (most ?) users of
TLMGR will be as unfamiliar with the usage as I am.

     arch list
Prints the names of the systems available at the default install
             location.

     arch add arch...
Add executables for the specified arches to the installation.
             Options:

             --dry-run
Nothing is actually installed; instead, the actions to
be performed are written to the terminal.
