Ah.  Well, here's another case:
- these packages depend entirely on acrobat (non-libre) and are not
  usable with any other pdf reader, to the best of my knowledge.
- they are exceedingly complex and difficult to install (in our process).

So despite all of Dr. Story's incredible work, they won't be getting
added to TL, at least not by me.

    I noticed that a zipped version of acrotex was in TL 2007, 

I removed it since it was out of date.  I think most of those zip files
in support should be deleted, but reviewing them is low priority for me.
