By the way, the next round of changes to texdoc will allow to associate a
"priority level" (or "relevance score", I'm not yet decided about the
terminology) to results matching certain patterns. The default file will
certainly give a negative priority to polish/tex-virtual-academy-pl.

Actually, it is a design choice: I don't consider the sources to be primary
relevant documentation. texdoc is about documentation as the name suggest. Maybe
a variant texsrc would be useful, but IMO it's not the same thing.

Actually, yes, it is the primary purpose. Some day, I'd like that whenever you
type \usepackage{<name>} in a LaTeX file, then you can type 'texdoc <name>' and
get the user documentation of the package <name>. I'm aware that achieving this
100% of the time is certainly to hard to be worth trying, but I'd like it to
work most of the time (pondered with the usefulness of package <name>).

(Also, this would allow to embed texdoc in an editor such as TeXworks, let the
user right-click (or ctrl-click or whatever) on a \usepackage line and have the
documentation pop up in the preview pane, which would be very helpful IMO.)

Secondary purposes are
1. to display the (pdf version of) man pages of the programs (useful on windows)
2. try to give sensible results for more general keywords such as latex, xetex,
koma, and here nfss.

Point 2 essentially means tweaking things by hand using aliases, so I guess it
will only work for the limited list of keywords I can think of (and know what
the relevant documents are), or suggested by others like here.

Manuel.
