[tex-live] Is there any time yet for a new version of a package?

Dear people,

I maintain a package (the algorithms bundle) and I've been keeping my  
SVN repository updated at

svn co svn://svn.berlios.de/algorithms/

I have not yet made a formal release, but I fixed some bugs that had  
bad interactions with some packages of important journals (actually,  
the packages/styles of such journals have problems with some  
essential packages like calc and/or similars).

My question is: is it too late to include a new version of algorithms  
in TeX Live 2009? I hope not.
