sigh.  i hadn't realised that; i'm rearranging the catalogue right now
:-(

i guess we ought to acquire a revtex4 for ctan.

i wonder if they're going to make a new incompatible setup at every
release in future (of course, as a learned society they can tell their
authors to like it or lump it ... tex live has had a pretty hard time of
such a change).
