Hi,
I just uploaded a new version of getnonfreefonts to the repository.
It uses --expand-braces instead of --expand-path, as suggested by
Zdenek. This means that getnonfreefonts now creates the $TEXMFHOME
directory if it doesn't exists already.

Some time ago Manuel reported that getnonfreefonts doesn't work for
people behind a firewall which blocks FTP traffic and proposed an
option for HTTP download. Though this option exists for a few weeks,
it's now mentioned in the manual page too.

If you encountered this problem already, try getnonfreefonts[-sys]
again using the new --http or -H option.

But please be aware that you can't install all supported fonts then.
Currently, the Adobe "eurofonts" is the only package which requires
FTP access. I hope that not too many people rely on it, there are
many alternatives.

The new version will be available from the mirrors within a few days.

Regards,
  Reinhard

Microsoft isn't the answer. Microsoft is the question, and the answer is NO.
